Steam turbine generator · CSV Midstream
3.1 MW back-pressure steam turbine generator, Albright Gas Plant
Supply of a 3.1 MW back-pressure steam turbine generator for CSV Midstream's Albright Gas Plant in northwest Alberta, recovering power from 55,000 kg/h of process steam.
The Howden CBA7 package takes steam at 4,400 kPa(g) and 257 °C and exhausts at 450 kPa(g) back to the plant, producing about 3 MW at the generator terminals. It included a Woodward 505 governor, DECS-250 excitation control, closed-loop cooling, an air-conditioned enclosure, utility-grade generator protection and power export limiting, with CSA certification.
