Site selection, permitting and design for power plants and industrial facilities: AUC power plant applications, environmental approvals, noise studies and plant layout.
We take power generation and industrial projects from a site to an approved, buildable design. Permitting and engineering are run together, so the plant you permit is the plant you build.
AUC power plant applications: Alberta Utilities Commission applications under Rule 007, including the participant involvement program, stakeholder notification and responses to information requests.
Noise and environmental studies: noise impact assessments to AUC Rule 012, air emissions and dispersion work, and Alberta Environment and Protected Areas approvals and registrations where required.
Municipal and grid: municipal development permits, AESO interconnection coordination, and fuel gas supply and site access agreements.
Site and plant design: site selection, plot plans and general arrangements, equipment layout, foundations, electrical single lines and switchgear, controls and SCADA, through to issued-for-construction packages.
